Start with Free, upgrade when you need to. The Free plan includes all core AI features — job descriptions, interviews, and bad actor detection. Upgrade when you hit limits on active jobs, monthly interviews, or team size.

Managing Your Subscription

Navigate to Plan & Billing

Go to SettingsPlan & Billing from the left-hand menu.

View Your Current Plan

See your current plan tier, usage statistics (interviews used, active jobs), and billing cycle.

Upgrade or Change Plan

Click Upgrade or Change Plan to switch tiers. Changes take effect immediately.

Update Payment Information

Click Payment Methods to add, update, or remove your payment details.

FAQ

Yes. You can downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time from the Plan & Billing page. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to change your mind or export what you need.
No. Monthly interview credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you have 100 interviews on the Starter plan and use 60, the remaining 40 do not carry over to the next month.
Yes. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the higher plan’s features and limits. You’ll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
If you reach your monthly interview limit, new candidates will not be able to start AI interviews until the next billing cycle begins or you upgrade to a higher plan. Existing in-progress interviews will complete normally.
An interview is counted when a candidate starts the AI conversation. If a candidate drops off partway through or loses connection and resumes, it still counts as one interview — not two.

Your data (jobs, candidates, scorecards, recordings) is preserved when you downgrade. However, you may lose access to premium features like custom branding and AI knowledge base on lower tiers. If you exceed the lower plan’s limits (e.g., 3+ active jobs on Starter), you’ll need to close some jobs before the downgrade takes effect.
Yes. For teams larger than 10 or with custom requirements (SSO, dedicated support, custom integrations), contact sales@hellorecruiter.ai for a tailored plan.
