Quick Setup Checklist

Update Your Browser

Make sure you’re using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.

Test Your Camera

Open your camera app to verify it’s working. Close any other apps using the camera.

Test Your Microphone

Record a short voice memo to confirm your mic is picking up audio clearly.

Check Your Internet

Run a speed test at fast.com — you need at least 5 Mbps.

Find a Quiet Space

Choose a well-lit room with minimal background noise.

Troubleshooting

If you run into issues:
  • Camera/mic not detected: Check browser permissions — click the lock icon in the address bar and allow access
  • Poor connection: Switch to a wired connection or move closer to your WiFi router
  • Interview won’t load: Try a different browser or clear your cache
