# Job Board Embed — Show Your Open Roles on Your Website

> Copy a short code snippet to list your Hello Recruiter jobs on your own careers page. Roles update automatically as you publish and close them.

> **Who is this for?** Users with the **Organisation Administrator** role, plus whoever manages your company website.

The job board embed shows your open roles on your own website. You set it up once: your roles appear straight away and stay in step as you publish and close jobs in Hello Recruiter.

## Set Up the Embed

**1. Open Job Board Embed**

Open the main menu and go to **Organization Settings** → **Job Board Embed**.

**2. Copy your code**

Under **Copy your code**, click **Copy**. The snippet has two lines: a `<div>` that marks where your board appears, and a `<script>` tag that loads the board.

Always copy the snippet from the app. It contains your organization's own board ID in place of `YOUR_BOARD_ID`.

**3. Paste it on your careers page**

Paste both lines where the roles should appear on your website. If someone else manages your site, send them the snippet.

**4. Choose which websites can show it**

* **Any website** — anyone with your code can show your roles.
* **Only the websites I list** — your board won't load anywhere else. Choose this to stop other sites from reusing your code.

If you choose **Only the websites I list**, type each website (for example `careers.yourcompany.com`) and click **Add**. Start with `*.` (for example `*.yourcompany.com`) to cover every address under a domain. You can list up to 50 websites. Click **×** next to a website to remove it.

## Expected Result

When you load your careers page, your active jobs appear where you pasted the code. Publish a new job, or pause or close one, and the board updates on its own — you don't need to change the code.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | What to check |
| - | - |
| The board doesn't appear | Make sure both lines were pasted, and that the page isn't stripping `<script>` tags (some website builders need a dedicated "custom code" or "HTML embed" block). |
| It works on one site but not another | If you chose **Only the websites I list**, add the other site to the list. |
| A job is missing | Only **Active** jobs are public. Check the job's status. See [Job Lifecycle](https://docs.hellorecruiter.ai/companies/jobs/job-lifecycle.md). |
