# Configuring the AI Interview Agenda & Structure

> Set up your AI interview agenda — define topics, follow-up depth, and duration to match each role's complexity and requirements.

Each job can have its AI interview configured to match the role's specific needs.

## Configuring the AI Interview

When setting up a job, you can enable and configure the AI-led interview:

* **Enable/disable** the AI interview for each job
* Define the **interview agenda** — topics the AI should cover
* Set **follow-up depth** — how deeply the AI probes on each topic

## Setting the Interview Agenda

Structure your interview around key topics:

* **Role understanding** — Does the candidate understand what the job entails?
* **Skills assessment** — Evaluating technical and soft skills
* **Experience discussion** — Exploring relevant background
* **Expectations alignment** — Salary, availability, work style

## Interview Duration

| Role Complexity     | Recommended Duration | Typical Questions |
| ------------------- | -------------------- | ----------------- |
| Entry-level         | 10–15 minutes        | 5–8 questions     |
| Mid-level           | 15–25 minutes        | 8–12 questions    |
| Senior / Leadership | 25–35 minutes        | 12–18 questions   |

  **Balance depth with candidate experience.** Longer interviews yield more data, but overly long sessions can lead to candidate drop-off. Find the sweet spot for each role level.
